Top 4 Cute DIY Braided Hairstyles For Long Hair

You can create something magical out of your long hair. All you need is a little bit of creativity, styling ideas, and step-by-step tutorials to make your tresses easier to design. So, check out few braided hairstyles for long hair.

1. Double Dutch Braid

A Dutch braid is the French braid turned inside out. The only difference is that the sections turn under one rather than over. Dutch pigtail braids add wow factor to your hair and are also simple to create.

Steps:

a) Partition your hair in the middle and then continue doing this on the back of your head to make two even hair sections.
b) Take one hair section and set it using a clip or rubber band.
c) Gently comb out the tangled hair and pick a tiny part at the front.
d) Divide it into three and start a crossing under braid.
Note: Make one or two stitches.

e) Add tiny bits of hair to each hair section while you do braiding.
f) With a comb or use your fingers to choose some hairs nearby and add this to the part as it crossed under.

You Will Need:

Steps:

a) Get all your hair in front and tease it at the crown of the head.
b) Smoothen down remaining hair on the front side and set it using bobby pins.
c) Choose 2 inches hair section above your left ear and divide it into three parts to French braid it.
d) With each stitch of the braid, add more hair to it above braid. It will conceal the top half of your twist.
e) After the French braid has reached the back of your head, braid it until you reached the end and set it with hair elastics.
f) Repeat steps c) to e) on your right side.
g) Pancake the braid and choose up one braid to roll it from its base while ensuring that it keeps laid flat against the head.
h) Tuck the tail of twist into the center of the flower and set it in its place with pins.
i) Roll the other braid around the first one to increase the size of lace rose twist.
j) Add some light hold spray to set the hair in its correct place.

d) Begin this by taking a small hairpiece from the outside of section one and cross it under by adding section number two.
